This kit will convert your 1998 and up 4l60E transmission to a factory mechanical speedometer and still have functional VSS capability. This conversion kit features a mechined billet adapter that mounts to the 6 bolt stock transmission, allowing the standard 4 bolt tail housing to bolt upright. It also includes a new mechanical speedometer sleeve with a new gear, and a reluctor/drive gear bushing assembly. This gear assembly drives the mechanical speedo and operates the VSS sensor. This is a simple 30 minute bolt-on installation.
